Project Every Day Counts

Project Every Day Counts was launched with a $50,000 donation in collaboration with Gray for Glioblastoma Society to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The project honors Josh Wexler and the Wexler Family and their dedication to furthering GBM research.

About Project Every Day Counts

Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.

The goal for project Every Day Counts is to offer a new avenue of hope for children with relapsed gliomas. The fully funded research study, led by Dr. Shahab Asgharzadeh and his team at CHLA, aims to evaluate the effectiveness of CTSR-enabled CAR-T cells against high-grade glioma cell lines and in immunodeficient mice with human GBM tumors.

We are thrilled to support this research project, also known as “Evaluation of a Novel Cellular Therapy for Children and Young Adolescents with High-Grade Glioma/GBM Brain Tumors.”
