Community Member-Led Event
On April 27th, I will be running the Brooklyn Half Marathon and I am dedicating this race to my beautiful cousin, Amanda who has been courageously battling Glioblastoma for the last two years . Glioblastoma is an aggressive form of brain cancer that accounts for approximately 50 percent of all primary malignant brain tumors. Amandas strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit inspires me every day, and when I was told I could honor her and so many other Glioblastoma patients through this race, I thought what better opportunity to raise awareness and support for those facing this devastating disease.
Running has recently been my outlet, helping me navigate life’s toughest moments. It has given me clarity, strength, and purpose during times of uncertainty. Now, I’m channeling that passion into something bigger—running for my cousin, for their fight, and for everyone affected by glioblastoma By donating, sharing, or simply sending words of encouragement together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for your support!
