My dad, Jimmy Webb, has always been one of the strongest, healthiest people I know. A firefighter for 27 years, he dedicated his life to protecting others—never slowing down, never backing down. I had never seen him sick, or hurt a day in my life. He is so many things to so many people. A husband, dad, brother, son, friend, fire chief, and “Papa Jim” to his 3 grand babies.
On Christmas Eve 2024, he went to the ER for some headaches he was having, and just days later, we heard the words no family ever wants to hear: Glioblastoma. A rare, complex, aggressive brain cancer with no cure. He then had a craniotomy on January 11th and has been fighting like crazy ever since.
Treatment options (Standard of Care) have remained the same for over a decade, and despite the strength of those who fight it, the survival rates have barely improved. That is not good enough.
Watching my dad face this battle with unwavering strength has made one thing clear: we need better options. We need research. We need hope. That’s why we’re raising funds—to push for advancements, to support new treatment possibilities, and to fight for every family facing this same devastating reality.
May is Brain Tumor Awareness month & each item purchased goes directly to Glioblastoma research & also spreads awareness.
My dad has spent his life showing up for others. Now, we’re showing up for him—and for everyone else fighting! 🧠 💪
