Leave a Legacy

Community Member-Led Event

The student artists of Temple University’s Bell Tower Records showcase their musical talents while raising money and awareness for Glioblastoma. This showcase is dedicated to my aunt, Hannah Garber Leese.

She was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2020, and passed away on November 4th, 2024. Glioblastoma is an aggressive, fast-growing type of brain cancer that originates from glial cells, typically in the cerebral hemispheres, and is characterized by its rapid invasion of surrounding brain tissue. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is 14 to 16 months, with only 6.8% having a five-year survival rate.

Hannah left a grand legacy. A loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend. Her strength, humor, elite taste in music, and free spirited nature will always be an inspiration to me.

As the Live Event Coordinator of Temple University’s Bell Tower Records, i wanted to put on an event in memory of Hannah, and to raise money and awareness to the Glioblastoma Research Organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization raising awareness and funds for new global, cutting-edge research to find a cure for glioblastoma. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the organization.

We hope you can join us for a night of fun!
